you gotta love summer...

I hate hangovers!

And now, for the news you use, or choose to lose...

So, many a month ago, it feels like, I clicked on what I thought was a spurious link (yet I still clicked on it), and landed up on some blogger's survey. Then last week, I get an e-mail telling me they like the blog and would like to profile me on 24.com! So I'm thinking, "Shweeeeet"! I've done worse. So any road, one thing leads to another, now, I might be on the Sunday Times, nogel!

It's not like I haven't been in the papers before. Before, it was for sporting achievements. Twice. I just thought the next time I'd be on the papers would be for some criminal offense. Just saying.

Any road, I've been getting caught up in this whole December thing. Apart from Tuesday, I've been out every single night this week. Wednesday was particularly fun. I was out with the HOtel crew (The Plastics) at the arty-fartsy exhibition. I've got to say, those UCT characters know what they are doing. All things considered (like my lack of know-how on all things art), I thought the work on display was very good. I've got a biased view, but I thought Feline's work was very good and well displayed as well, although I had already seen much of it.

So afterwards, we went to Waiting Room and had a few drinks and a Yagger. Much fun. The Feline with a K celebrated a little muchly and spent much of the time in the bog for what started as a 'tactical chunder' and ended  up being kicked out the bog by the bouncer and a trip home. Can't remember the last time I was with someone in that state. Seriously. Takes me back to the only time Betty got chundered on. Good times, those.

So amped for Saturday. Willverine's birthday and all. We going to Frans' place first for pre-drinks, then pub golfing in the Mont, then it all ends up at Toiger. To boot, the cool part of the Crew-from-the-View will also be there. And Mini driver will be coming along as well. To get over the girl at Table 3 at Cacti. Much debauchery.

Much of December is already booked out, actually. Take next weekend, for instance. There's the work end of year function in the morning and afternoon, a stag night in the afternoon and night, AND Deepdish playing at night. Seriously! The stag night is very important for my friend, but I really really REALLY wanna go see Deepdish!

What can I say? Apparently, I'm going home for Christmas. Ewiva is home and all, and the parentals want me home to see her. I want to go see her. But it wasn't in my plans to go home. And get this, my Pops is GYMING! Think of a tall, scrawny, old dude, doing the whole gym thing. I'm struggling to hold the image in my head. I'm struggling to hold the image of King William's Town having a gym! Just saying...
